Over the years Netflix has developed from a small DVD delivery service to a full fledged online movie and television show streaming service. While Netflix was still a small company, there was a popular television show known as Gilmore Girls. Now Netflix has continued the Gilmore girls Legacy by streaming both the show and even releasing a new season of Gilmore Girls.
Gilmore Girls is a show that gives us a look into the lives of a single mother as she raises her gifted daughter. Rory is an extremely gifted student who is bound to go places in life. The show is a drama with comedy sprinkled throughout. This show was extremely popular when it was aired and it is extremely popular now. There are currently seven seasons streaming on Netflix with another season soon to come. The first seven seasons were aired between 2000 and 2007. Now Netflix is creating an “eighth” season to stream. Im not sure if you can call this new season “season 8” This season will continue the story portrayed in the original Gilmore Girl television show. Technically season eight of Gilmore girls will be considered a Netflix Original, however, fans of Gilmore Girls will be thrilled to have more episodes to binge watch. Gilmore Girls Season 8 Netflix Release Date
After more than eight years Gilmore Girls will have a new season for fans to watch. Unlike the original seven seasons of Gilmore Girls, season 8 will be produced and released by and on Netflix. The Eighth season of Gilmore Girls will consist of four episodes. Each episode will be ninety minutes in length. The episodes will build on the original story told by seasons one through seven. We can expect season eight of Gilmore Girls a Year In The Life to be released on Netflix in November 2016. Personally I have not yet finished season 6 of Gilmore Girls so I cannot say I’m quite ready for season 8 to be released. I know that thousands of Gilmore Girls fans are ready for the Netflix premier of Gilmore Girls season 8. I hope that Netflix continues to create new seasons of Gilmore girls.
