The houseparty group video chat app is a unique app that allows its users to video chat with multiple friends at the same time. The app is well put together and operates smoothly. The interface simple and easy to operate.
How To Use Housparty Group Video Chat
When you first download the housparty group video chat app you will need to sign up for an account using your email. You will create a username and a password. Next you will input your phone number and the app will send your phone a text. When you receive the text you will need to input the verification code into the app to activate your account. Once your account has been activated the app will ask permission to use your phone’s camera and microphone. Once all the permissions have been granted you will be presented with this home page:
Until you start a group video chat, the front facing camera will continually provide random fun facts for you to read until you start a group video chat with your friends. These fun facts are surprisingly entertaining; sometimes I find myself just opening the app to see if any new fun facts have been added.
How to Add Friends on The Housparty Group Video Chat App
When you first Open up the housparty group video chat app, there is not much you can do with the app until you add your friends. You will need to add a few different friends before you can have your first party. To add friends on in the housparty group video chat app you will need to tap the icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen, when you do this you will be presented with this screen:
To add friends and invite them to a group video chat, you simply tap either the add friends tab or tap the green add friends button. Either one will present you with a page where you can add friends by searching their username or searching your contacts for users. Once you add your friends you can start a group video chat. AKA a party.
How To Start a Video Chat With The Houseparty Group Video Chat App
Now that you have a number of different friends added on the housparty group video chat app, you can start a video chat with your friends. To start a group video chat with the housparty app you can either swipe down on the screen or tap the white circle icon at the top center of the screen. When you do this you will be presented with this screen:
Of course when you have added friends on the app you will have a list of friends to chat with here. If they are on the app you will be able to join them in a group video chat. If they are not on the app you will be able to say hello by tapping the hello icon next to their name. If the person is in the middle of a group video chat there will be a list of names of all the people involved in the group video chat below that persons name. You can join your friends group video chat at any time.
