Instead of displaying the number of people who have liked an Instagram video, the number of views is displayed. The Instagram Video Views Update has a number of pros and a slightly smaller number of cons, but that is another story for another day. In this article I will be discussing the process of viewing the number of likes on an Instagram video.

How to See Who Has Liked an Instagram Video 

To start off lets refresh, Instagram has removed likes from the format of a video post on the app. Now we have to find out where they can be viewed. This all depends on who’s video you are trying to see the likes on. If the video is your own, all you have to do to see who has liked your Instagram video is go to your recent notifications. Unless the video is from a while back. In that case you will need to follow the process below to find out who has liked your Instagram video.

How to See How Many Likes and Who Has Liked an Instagram Video 

The process of finding out how many likes a video on Instagram has is very easy and will only take you a few seconds to figure out. When you get to a video post on Instagram you will see the number of views displayed. This is dandy and all but we are looking to see how many people have actually liked the video, and who has liked the video. To do this, all you need to do is tap the number of views below the video. When you do this you will be presented with this screen:

As you can see in the image above, this screen offers you a lot of information about the video. At the top of the screen there is a title that reads “Views and Likes.” Just as the title text says, this page displays the video’s views and the video’s likes. Immediately below the title is a play symbol with a number below it followed by the word views. This numerical value is the number of times the video has been viewed. The likes for the video will be located just below the number of views. There will be a list of all of the Instagram users who have liked the Instagram video. You will be able to see their username and follow them directly from this page; just like you would have been able to do when you clicked on the number of likes. At the upper right hand corner of the likes there is some faint text that tells you the exact number of people who have liked the Instagram video.
