One of the hit movies of recent years is the movie Jurassic World. This revival of the classic Jurassic Park series is full of action. Not many would argue if I said that Jurassic World would make a great addition to Netflix’s library of content.
Many Netflix subscribers are asking the question “is Jurassic World on Netflix?” The answer, as of now, is no; however, we may see Jurassic World added in the near future with the sequel on the horizon. Typically when a sequel is about to be released in theaters, Netflix considers streaming previous movies as demand is renewed.

In order to determine if Jurassic World is going to be added to Netflix, we must take a look at Netflix from a business’ perspective. In order for Netflix to stream any movie, they must pay a royalty fee. For movies in high demand, this royalty fee is very high which makes streaming these movies unprofitable. As time goes by, the royalty fee will reach a point where it will become profitable to stream the movie.
It may be the case that the producer of Jurassic World will want to create a buzz around the series to help promote the sequel to Jurassic World. They may consider letting Netflix stream Jurassic World to get the brand in viewers heads and make them want to see the sequel.
Unfortunately there is no way of knowing if this will happen or when it will happen. All we can do right now is wait to see if and when Netflix decides to stream the movie Jurassic World.
