Kylie Jenner has made it clear to Snapchat that she is not happy with the new snapchat update. In a recent tweet, Jenner stated that she would no longer be using Snapchat due to changes the most recent snapchat update. As a result of this tweet, Snapchat has noticed a 7% loss in activity.

In a tweet in February, Jenner made the announcement that she would no longer be using snapchat. Her tweet read “sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? This statement lead to snapchat experiencing a 7% drop in the stock market. This 7% drop in value may seem minimal, but in reality this drop may have cost snapchat over $1 billion.

As of now Kylie Jenner has not deleted her snapchat account. Even though she may not seem very active, this is likely due to the unpopular redesign that was recently released by snapchat. It seems likely that snapchat reached out to their queen in an attempt to regain the 7% loss that was experienced after her first tweet regarding the new update. Regardless of the drive behind the apologetic tweet, it happened and snapchat should rejoice.
