The fastest way to get a longer snake is to kill other snakes and eat their dots. To kill other snakes in slither.io you need to trap them and cause them to run into the body of your snake. You can do this by either creating a circle around the other snakes, trapping them. Or by cutting them off by using a speed boost to cut in front of them. Either of these methods will force the other snake to run into your body and die. Then you can scoop up all of the dots and make your snake the longest faster. You can also use the speed boost to play defense. If another snake tries to race in front of you using a speed boost you can use a boost to keep them from cutting in front. Once your snake gets long enough you can use the body of your snake to protect yourself. You can make a circle with your snake then just keep the head of your snake within the circle.
