Snapchat has begun releasing snapchat filters for some of the less significant holidays out there. Although there was never a snapchat filter released for pi day on march 14th, they did create a snapchat filter for the international day of happiness

The international day of happiness was started by the United Nations to promote happiness. The first ever International Day of Happiness was held in 2012. Happiness was determined to be a very important part of humans’ life. So to celebrate this important component in peoples lives, the international day of happiness was determined to be March 20th of every year. Snapchat is participating in the celebration by releasing a snapchat filter for snapchat users to use. The filter was released at midnight on March 14th 2016. International Day of Happiness Snapchat Filter Overivew

The international day of happiness snapchat filter is a celebration of happiness all around the world. This snapchat filter will be used by people all around the world. The filter consists of a few different components at the bottom of the filter. In the upper left hand corner of the bottom half of the screen there is some white text that reads “international day of happiness” Below the text there is some sun rays as well as some flowers. To the right of the sun rays is a cartoon of the earth with a smiley face and arms in the air. There is also a banner of flags from all around the world around the earth’s neck. To the right of the earth there is a cartoon sun with a smiley face and its arms in the air as well.
