5. Pete’s Christmas On Netflix

If you’re a fan of the movie Groundhog Day, then you are in for a treat!! Pete’s Christmas really should be named Pete’s 1000 Christmas’s as the movie centers around Pete reliving a particular Christmas day over and over – Bill Murray style. Pete, who is a teenager in a family where he happens to be the unfortunate middle child, finds himself on a Christmas day that is deemed to be the worst Christmas ever. After reliving it 1000 times he is able to discover things he never knew about his family, friends, town and even himself. 6. Love Actually On Netflix

Love Actually is one of those movies that just never seems to get old. Starring some old and new faces, Love Actually is a romantic, heart-warming story filled with a whole bunch of little stories. Some of the stars you can expect to see are Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson. The movie follows 8 totally different stories, all during the holiday season. The 8 lives all are intertwined in a unique way somehow that makes the movie tie up like a bow once the end of the movie rolls around. Love Actually is a beautifully written and beautifully directed. 8. Noel On Netflix

Noel is one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies. Although low budget, Noel has a lot of familiar faces including Susan Sarandon, Penelope Cruz, and the late Paul Walker. Paul Walker is brilliant in this movie and it is great for any Paul Walker fans to see. This movie is similar to Love Actually in the way that it follows different characters and different plots, that all intertwine in some way by the end of the movie. This movie in particular does the intertwining beautifully leaving no loose ends and having you feel all warm inside closer to the end. This movie has never been and is not a very popular Christmas movie, and I have yet to figure out why. It has brilliant acting, a charming plot line and very well-like actors. Another actor you can expect to find in this lovely movie is Robin Williams. Robin Williams plays a very interesting role in this movie, considering his life. It is a beautiful movie filled with love, sacrifice, laughter, loss, and new beginnings. A tear or two might shed, but it’s definitely worth the watch.

9. Miracle on 34th Street On Netflix

Miracle on 34th Street is a classic. If you haven’t seen it, it is definitely a must see. Set during the holiday time in New York City, a young girl, Dorey and a lawyer set out to prove a man is the real santa clause. This movie that is on Netflix is made in 1994 and is a remake of the original movie that was actually made in 1947. They are both good versions, but this one on Netflix is more relatable to today. Watch for a classic Christmas movie experience to bring in the joy of the holidays to your home.

If you’re in the mood for a good-old country Christmas movie, here it is! With many twists and turns, this is a great movie for the whole family to watch. This movie has received mixed reviews, but if you are looking for something to satisfy the country in your heart then give this one a try!
