Totally. I love this crime drama with a twist of humor. Fantastic production, that is set in a magnificent city. Love the cast and quality.

This is a captivating show, both cinematically and in the storyline. The flavor of Cuba is enticing and comes through in every scene. Watching detectives work, taking notes on a pad and without smart phones takes the show to an entirely different level. I would pay to have the second season ready Tourism to Cuba will increase as a result of Four Seasons in Havana.

This is a great show that brings a glim of the real cuba. Excelent actors and nails bitting suspense. Netflix did an awesome job with picture and sound. Noticeable improvement over the typical low cost cuban movies. When is next season coming?

This is one of the best crime shows on television. The characters are amazing. You don’t have to be Cuban to appreciate such a great television program. As long as you can read you will look this show. Come on Netflix. I don’t want to wait for season 2!

As a foreigner who lived in Cuba for almost 14 months, I learned to appreciate the Cuban people, culture, ideas, etc. This is an excellent show that reminded me of the time I spent in Cuba. This is a great show. Of course I want to watch a 2nd season. The acting is great and the locations and sounds are also great.

One of the best. Right in their with Spiral and Wallander. Really hope there’s another season (or more). Love the emphasis on characters, not gimmicks.

It’s OKay! Basic cop show were a different case gets solved at end of episode. Main character is good actor but it’s a bit of a stretch that’s he’s making out with a different hot woman in each episode!!!! Aside from that show is filmed very well and Cuban locations greatly admired along with all the pretty women!:)

For Season 2 to come about, Leonardo Padura would have to go beyond his four novels upon which the mini-series were based.
And the last one had a certain finality to it, both logical and emotional, so I am not so sure Season 2 and beyond make sense. Still, it would be great to see the character again.

    P.S.
But I am wrong, there are two more novels – “Adios, Hemingway” and “La neblina del ayer”, but with Conde no longer a policeman
Perhaps that would be Season 2.

I really wish Leonardo Padura would write more novels with Conde, but there are only currently four. (If you liked the miniseries, the books are even more phenomenal, and Award-winning, even if you now know how they end.) Lacking that, I don’t now how it will continue, and I don’t understand why Netflix named it as a show, rather than as a miniseries. One could only wish that if it does continue somehow, Padura would be the head consultant, or that it could follow the Game of Thrones formula somehow, with the books being written as the show is being shot. But I wouldn’t hold my breath, since they were all published long ago. This series took me completely by surprise, since I read books only within this last year and suddenly the show arrived. Padura is a master author with inspiring, but funny prose that will keep you turning the page. I really hope this series brings him broader recognition beyond the Spanish-speaking world.

This was a great show!!!!! The four installments were almost like short movies…well done, but Jorge is a fine actor and the ensemble complimented his talents.

I just returned from a trip in Cuba. Four Seasons in Havana displays the incredible architect and ambiance of Cuba. I look forward to many more seasons. Please air season 2 soon.

Season 2…. ? Let’s talk about 3 & 4. Netflix needs to green light this series, no brainer. I do not speak or understand spanish.. love this show. I could go on and on.. this is Narcos level. Well done Netflix !!

  12. Clement Moore

Acting and local flavors excellent. I wish the Latinos wouldn’t smoke so much. I gave up smoking 50 years ago and they are driving me crazy. Also, I love Latinas, so this show feeds my craving with some real beauties. I also enjoy the contradiction between the real revolutionaries and the corrupt leadership. Ain’t government grand wherever you go. Bring on Season Two yesterday. I am all in!!!

  13. Ana Maria Geraldino

One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Please Netflix, give us a second ( and third) season…!

  14. Herbert Levin

A wonderful production, with excellent, suspenseful stories and fabulous cinematography Bring on Season 2!!
Netflix should consider doing a mini-series on Padura’s book “The Man Who Loved Dogs” . It was a great read and would make an action packed thriller.
