Netflix is a movie and television show streaming service that allows its users to stream their favorite television shows and movies for a small monthly fee. There are hundreds of different shows and movies to choose from on Netflix. However, some of the newer releases are not yet available on Netflix.
When Will The Deadpool Movie Be On Netflix?
One of the most popular movies of 2016 so far is Deadpool. This movie is based off of the marvel comic book series that stars a witty hero who is extremely rude and violent. A lot of parents took their kids to see this movie and were shocked at the language and action that took place in the movie. The Deadpool movie brought in over $350,000,000 in the span of a few months. Deadpool’s release was highly anticipated and marketed with billboards, snapchat filters, and television commercials. On opening night hundreds of thousands of people flooded theaters across the country to view the action comedy. Now the anticipation is growing for the release of Deadpool on Netflix. There are thousands of people around the country waiting for Deadpool to be available on Netflix. These thousands of people want to either see Deadpool again or see it for the first time. The question is: “When will Deadpool be on Netflix?”
When Netflix adds a new movie or television show series to their service, they pay the producers of the show a certain amount of money to stream the movie/ show. Depending on the popularity and demand for the movie, the price can be high or low. In the case of Deadpool, the demand is extremely high which means that the producers of the movie can charge a higher price for companies like Netflix to stream the movie. I wouldn’t be surprised if Deadpool does not come out on Netflix for over a year, maybe even two, or maybe not at all. Deadpool was such a successful production that the price that Netflix would have to pay a fortune for the movie. When it comes down to profits, it is just not profitable for Netflix to purchase the right to stream Deadpool online. If someone wanted to see Deadpool they could purchase the DVD or Blu-Ray for the price of two months of Netflix. It is much more profitable for Netflix to put its money toward popular television shows, because people are much more likely to pay the monthly fee to be able to watch all 300 episodes of their favorite show, than to pay a monthly fee to watch one two hour movie. So unfortunately, Deadpool may never be available on Netflix for people to watch online, however, It is already available on DVD or Blu-Ray.
