Where Was When Calls the Heart Season 5 Filmed?
When Calls the Heart was in fact filmed in Canada, where the story is set. The director and producer at one time discussed filming the series in Colorado but ended up shooting the show in the countryside just south of the Canadian metropolis of Vancouver, British Columbia. The home of the Thatchers is actually the University Women’s Club of Vancouver. This building as well as the farm used for the show is surrounded by vineyards and is a must visit location for any fans of When Calls the Heart. The filming process began in Vancouver in August of 2017 and wrapped up in December 2017. Just in time to make its premier on Hallmark Channel, then on Netflix!
