Will There Be A Second Season of Erased on Netflix?

If you are a Netflix subscriber you know that Netflix offers a number of great international series that can be streamed online almost anywhere. Netflix has begun producing a great deal of original international content as well. One of their newest original series is the show Erased originally known as Bokudake ga Inai Machi.

Erased is the newest international drama series to be added to Netflix. Based off of the anime series by the same name, Erased tells the story of an eighteen year old boy who finds his mother dead; however, he his given the opportunity to travel back and time and prevent this horrible fatality.

Sounds pretty interesting right?

Critics have given Erased outstanding ratings and viewers could not be happier with the show although some preferred the original anime version. One subscriber wrote:

“I thought it was pretty good. Many people will still prefer the anime but I don’t think fans of the anime will be upset with this adaption. It is VERY difficult to adapt anime…”

Will Erased Season 2 Happen?

If you are wondering if there will be a second season of Erased you are in good company. Hundreds of Netflix subscribers have already finished the first season of Erased on Netflix and are wondering if Netflix will produce a second season of Erased. If we take a look at how this great series was received by the public. If you are anxious for a second season you are in luck. Erased has received great ratings from nearly every major critic scale. Erased received an 8.6 from IMDb which is well above average.

So what does this mean…

When a show receives good ratings from critics and is well received by subscribers, it gives Netflix a much greater incentive to pursue the production of a subsequent season. Although Netflix has not announced the production of a second season of Erased, we would not be surprised to see Netflix renew Erased for season 2.

When Will Erased Season 2 Be on Netflix?

There is currently only one season of Erased available on Netflix. After being received well by critics and viewers it is likely that Netflix will bless us with another season of this great show. Unfortunately Netflix has not yet announced the release date for Erased.

Can Erased Be Streamed in English on Netflix?

Being that Erased is an international series, it is not streamed in English on Netflix. Netflix does provide English subtitles to viewers in predominantly English speaking regions but the dialogue in the series is still Japanese. As of now there is no way to stream the Netflix original series Erased in English.
