The most popular free application available on the Apple App Store today is the app Sweatcoin. This app allows users to get paid for simply walking outdoors. Yes you read that correctly. This app is going to give you credits just for walking. These credits can then be redeemed for different products.
Heres how Sweatcoin works…
The Sweatcoin app uses an algorithm that tracks both your GPS location as well as your steps to ensure that there is no cheating going on. As you accumulate more steps, the application will convert the steps into Sweatcoins. Usually the conversion rate is right around 1.35 Sweatcoin per 2,000 steps. So in theory the more steps you take outside in a day, the more Sweatcoin you will get… right? Wrong… With the free app you will max out at five sweat coin per day. This raises a question: “can I get more than five Sweatcoin per day on Sweatcoin?”
How to Get More Than 5 Sweatcoins Per Day on the Sweatcoin App!
The free mobile app Sweatcoin rewards users for taking steps outside. The app rewards users with what are called Sweatcoins that can be redeemed for a number of different prizes ranging from curved televisions to a protein shake. When you initially install the app you will notice that you reach a cap at five Sweatcoins per day. This cap is extremely limiting. With this cap in place, the most Sweatcoin you can earn in a month is 150. Considering that a Fitbit Flex costs 550 Sweatcoin, it will take you quite a while to collect enough Sweatcoin. You may find yourself asking “is there a way to earn more than five Sweatcoin per day?”
The answer to this question is yes, but its going to cost you. There are different levels of Sweatcoin membership that allow you to earn different amounts of Sweatcoin per day. Here are all the different levels you can upgrade to and how much Sweatcoin each respective level allows you to collect daily.
Mover (up to 5 SWC/day)
Shaker ( up to 10 SWC/day)
Quaker (up to 15 SWC/day)
Breaker(up to 20 SWC/day)
Trouble Maker (n/a)
As you can see there are currently four different levels of membership ranging from Mover all the way up to Breaker. Trouble Maker is still in development and is not available. Each level above Mover costs you Sweatcoin to be a part of. The higher your cap, the more you have to pay per month. For Shaker, there is a monthly fee of 4.75 SWC. For Quaker there is a monthly fee of 20 SWC. The Breaker membership will deduct 3o SWC per month.
It is up to you to determine which level of Sweatcoin will be best for you. Make sure that you choose a level that will benefit you the most. For example, if you do not walk outside or do not see yourself earning much Sweatcoin, you will not want to invest in a higher level as it will end up costing you more Sweatcoin than you earn.
Is There A Way to Earn Unlimited Sweatcoins in a Day? Does Trouble Maker Give You Unlimited Sweatcoins?
With all this talks about caps you may begin to wonder if there is a way to get unlimited Sweatcoins in a day. The answer to this question as of now is no. So as of now you can only earn a maximum of 20 Sweatcoins per day, but it will cost you 30 Sweatcoins per month to allow you to do so. Every level has a cap that limits the number of Sweatcoins that may be earned daily. There has been no word from Sweatcoin informing users about the cap or lack of a cap for the Trouble Maker level. Only time will tell what perks the Trouble Maker level will provide users.
