How to Download Your Snapchat Story

Snapchat story is a great thing that can often times be hilarious or crazy. Sometimes a Snapchat story is so good you will want to keep it forever. If you want to download your Snapchat story, here is what you are going to want to do. First you will tap on the three dots to the right of your story. This will open up your story and show it in individual parts. You will see the views as well as a download icon that looks like an arrow pointing into a box. It will look like this:

When you tap this icon your story will be downloaded to your device’s camera roll. Once on your camera roll you can store the Snapchat story or upload it to other social media platforms including Instagram.

How to Post Your Snapchat Story on Instagram

Once you have downloaded your Snapchat Story onto your camera roll you are going to want to open up your Instagram app and tap the new post button. The new post button looks like this:

Once you tap this button you will be presented with a preview of the post with a list of content from your camera roll below it. Select your downloaded Snapchat story from the list and add a caption and post. You have successfully posted your Snapchat story on Instagram.

How to Post Your Snapchat Story on Your Instagram Story

If you want to post your Snapchat story on your Instagram story you are going to need to follow the same steps that are described above to download your Snapchat story to your device’s camera roll. Once the story is downloaded you will want to open your Instagram app and tap on the add story button. The button will look like this:

Once you tap this button you will be presented with an open camera. Ignore the camera and tap on the gallery button in the lower left hand corner of the screen:

Once you tap here you will be taken to a screen where you will want to choose the story from the list of content from your camera roll. Once you select the story that you want to share you will want to tap the “send to” button in the lower right hand corner and select “Your Story”

Once you tap send the Snapchat story will be added to your Instagram story. For this to work the Instagram story must be posted within twenty four hours of you downloading the Snapchat story.
