One of the most popular free games available on the app store today is the game Infinite Golf. This casual endless arcade style game from Voodoo is probably one of the most addictive games that I have seen in a long time. This app has received a number of great reviews and has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times.
Here is what Infinite Golf is all about…
How to Play Infinite Golf Game on iPhone
The gameplay for the game Infinite Golf is very straightforward. The object of the game is to hit a golf ball into a golf hole within three hits without hitting the ball out of bounds. Seems simple right? Some holes are very easy while others will challenge you to employ a great deal of strategy. To hit the ball you will need to Tap and drag on the screen similar to how you fired birds in the game Angry Birds. The further you drag your finger the harder you will hit the ball and the further it will go. If you get the ball in the hole the screen will slide forward and you will be presented with another hole and you will have another three shots to get the ball in the hole. For each time you get the ball in the hole on the first shot you will receive two points, and each subsequent shot in a row will net you one extra point. So if you hit three hole in ones in a row you will get four points on the third make in a row. If it takes you two shots to get the ball in the hole you will get one point and if it takes you three shots to get the ball in the hole you will get no points but can continue on to the next hole. If you fail to get the ball into the hole on the third shot the game is over.
Here are some strategies to help you get a hole in one every time in the game Infinite Golf.
Infinite Golf Cheats and Strategies to Get a Higher Score
In the game Infinite Golf there is just as much practice to be done as there is strategy. You must play for a bit to get used to how to place the ball at certain places. Just like real golf, there is a great deal of strategy as your shots will never be perfect. Below I will share some of the common situations in the game Infinite Golf and how to handle each.
Hole-In-One Situation
A Hole-in-one situation is a situation in which the hole is at the bottom of a wide valley. In the image below you can see that if you hit the ball anywhere between the two ridges surrounding the hole, you are going to get a hole in one. In this situation you should go for the hole in one.
Flop Situation
A flop situation is a situation where there is a great deal of flat surface behind the hole, but a steep surface preventing you from hitting it short and letting the ball roll in. Below you will see an example of a Flop situation. In this situation you will want to hit the ball as high as possible and land it as close to the hole as possible without it rolling off the back of the screen and out of bounds.
Lay-up Situation
A lay up situation is a situation in which the hole is placed up on a flat surface where there is no room to flop the shot next to the hole. In this situation you will want to take the first shot somewhere close but not at the hole then use the next shot to gently chip the ball up into the hole.
If you use these strategies and identify these different situations there is no situation that you will encounter that will take you more than three shots to hole out the ball. Two more tips I will give you are, one, don’t be too aggressive, and two, always try to land the ball on a slope that descends to the left. This will help you slow down the balls momentum and place your shots more accurately. This will help you get a higher score an maybe even break the world record high score for Infinite Golf.
