Snapchat filters serve a number of different purposes. Snapchat filters are created for marketing, events, and even holidays. Holidays that receive snapchat filters range from big national holidays to some of the less popular holidays.
On April 10th 2016 snapchat released a new snapchat filter for a holiday that some people may not be aware of. Holidays that have recieved snapchat filters in the past include New Years Day 2016, Easter, and even national 4×4 day. Now another lesser known holiday has a snapchat filter. National Siblings day has its own snapchat filter and snapchat users will have access to the filter all day on National Siblings day. Below you will find a description of the national siblings day snapchat filter along with an image of the lens.
Happy Siblings Day Snapchat Filter Overview
The national siblings day snapchat filter allows snapchat users to celebrate the holiday by adding a little extra to their snaps. The filter consists of an orange banner that appears to be suspended by two long green vines from the top of the filter. The banner reads “happy siblings day”. There are yellow bananas on either side of the word happy. These bananas are for the two monkeys that are hanging on to the top of the banner. The monkeys represent siblings and in the filter they seem to be getting along, unlike most siblings.
