If you are a big fan of science fiction films or of the novel series Maze Runner, you may have your sights set on the movie Maze Runner: The Death Cure. This great film, based on the novel, made its debut in theaters across the country on January 26th, 2018. So far viewers and critics have had some great things to say about the third movie in the series.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the third Maze Runner movie. This movie tells the story of the Gladers as they must break into the Last City in order to save their friends. This mission is their most daring yet. Although Thomas acknowledges this danger, this is a do or die situation. If you are a Netflix subscriber I think you would agree with me when I say that the movie Maze Runner: The Death Cure would make a great addition to Netflix’s library of content. The question being asked now is “will Maze Runner: The Death Cure be added to Netflix?”

After studying Netflix’s tendencies for the past few years our team has discovered patterns in how Netflix determines what shows and movies they are going to pursue. Netflix typically tries to stream movies that are in high demand. This way they can keep their subscribers happy as well as attract new subscribers to their service. If it were up to subscribers Maze Runner: The Death Cure would be added to Netflix as soon as possible. It will be interesting to see whether or not Netflix decides to go after streaming rights to the third movie in the Maze Runner series.

In order for Netflix to stream a movie, they must pay the producer of the respective movie a royalty fee. For movies that are in high demand this royalty fee can be excessively expensive. For this reason Netflix will wait until the demand for the movie becomes more affordable before they make the decision to pay the royalty fee and stream the movie. Maze Runner: The Death Cure is currently in the phase where it would not be profitable for Netflix to stream the movie. There is no way to determine the exact date that this will occur. However, we can make an educated guess as to when Netflix will release Maze Runner: The Death Cure. We will likely be available to watch on Netflix by August 10th, 2019.
