Great show…Netflix seems to rock out the best of tv. Television has become more globalized in the US, thanks in large part to Netflix’s wide access to foreign programs, so I’m happy to see them globalize original series (best of all worlds). Not only do I hope they film a second season, but I’m hoping they expand even more into other parts of Europe as well (loved Peaky Blinders and The Fall too!)

Non French speakers may be put off by this film simply because of the subtitles. This is an amazing series, please do not let the subtitles

I loved season 1 of No Second Chance. Hope there will be a second season. P.S. I’m telling all my friends and family to watch it! Love hearing the beautiful French language and seeing the lovely people, their homes, clothing. It’s a thrilling portrayal of what we do for those we love. I am dying to see what happens with the young woman who was ready to kill the pregnant women. She has to be the best sociopath ever. Her psychiatrist seems to be falling for her tears. Unless I missed something, she is still hospitalized or incarcerated and told Alice she would pay. I would image a reappearance if there is a second season. And, of course, the love interest is so handsome and adds a lot to the intensity of the show.

Sorry to disappoint. Although the series is presented as a netflix original it is not made by them in the same way House of Cards or Stranger Things is commissioned by netflix.
This is made of France by French studios. Netflix have only bought the exclusive syndicated rights to show it around the world. They have no control over the content.
I wish netflix would call such shows ‘netflix exclusives’ and not netflix originals, which should be reserved by truly original netflix programmes.
