Netflix subscribers should also be introduced to a number of great films as well both from third party producers and from Netflix in the form of Netflix originals. One of the biggest drama movies of 2018 that may make its way onto Netflix is the movie The Commuter.

What is The Commuter All About?

The Commuter is a Drama/ Mystery that depicts the story of a man named Michael as he is challenged by a stranger to determine the identity of a passenger on a train during his commute home. Life and death hangs in the balance and it is a race against the clock to find the answer. Some of the top critic scales in the United States have given The Commuter above average ratings. As The Commuter makes its way out of theaters across the country, Netflix subscribers will begin asking the big question “will The Commuter be added to Netflix?”

In order for Netflix to stream any movie they must pay a royalty fee to the producers of the film. Depending on the demand for the movie this fee can be high, or reasonable. The royalty fee for The Commuter is currently to high for it to be profitable for Netflix to stream the movie. As time goes by however, the royalty fee will become more affordable and It will become more likely that Netflix will begin streaming The Commuter. There is no telling when this will happen as the deal is closed to the public and is between Netflix and the producers.

If we had to make a prediction we would say that The Commuter may be available to watch on Netflix by August 15th, 2019.
