If you are a One Tree Hill fan, and were saddened  by the removal of the show on Netflix, cry no more! One Tree Hill has now been added to Hulu. For some of you this is not new information, however, if it is, you can now resume your tv-show One Tree Hill binge. If you don’t have a Hulu account, unfortunately you are still out of luck with it not being on Netflix. However, what some people don’t know is Hulu offers a free subscription to those with Spotify accounts. So, if you don’t have Hulu, but you have Spotify, you are in luck – you can get it for free! Now that everyone can freely watch One Tree Hill again, (smart move, Hulu) most people are picking up where they left of in the season. Those of you who stopped watching prior to Season 5 might be a little confused when you get to the end of Season 5… below I explain why the episode order is confusing on Hulu for Season 5 of One Tree Hill.

Are the episodes out of order for One Tree Hill on Netflix?

Some of you might have gotten really confused as you pressed play on Episode 17 of Season 5 of One Tree Hill. Especially, for those of you who are trying to figure out where they left off after One Tree Hill was taken off of Netflix. If you press play on Episode 17 of Season 5 of One Tree Hill, titled, “Hate Is Safer than Love” you might find yourself with a case of deja vu. Hulu must have made an error in its uploading because, yes, the episodes are out of order! What Hulu has for the title of each episode, and the description as well, is 100% correct. However, the episode or video that plays when you click to watch is not the correct one to match the title. Episode 17 of Season 5 of One Tree Hill on Hulu, is actually a repeat of Episode 2 of Season 5, titled “Racing Like a Pro.” If you go back on Hulu to Episode 2 of Season 5 of One Tree Hill and re-watch it, you will notice it is the same episode that plays for when you click on Episode 17 of Season 5 “Hate Is Safer than Love.” Unfortunately this mix up has caused a lot of confusion and frustration because it is hard to tell what the correct episode is.

Where is Episode 17 Season 5 of One Tree Hill on Hulu?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to me that Episode 17 of Season 5 “Hate Is Safer than Love” is available. That is a missing episode because instead, it is just replaced of a copy of Episode 2 of Season 5 “Racing Like a Pro.” Instead of there being 18 different episodes on Season 5, there are 18 episodes, but 2 of those episodes are 1 episode repeated. Since the episodes are mixed up, instead of just one missing, it is most likely that Hulu will not fix this error until they are contacted about it.

I have not been able to find the actual episode 17 for season 5 yet, but it could possibly be mixed up with another episode in another season.
