Tomb Raider follows the journey of a young woman who’s father was an explorer. When her father goes missing, she takes it upon herself to try and find him at his last known destination. The adventure that ensues is sure to entertain. I think most Netflix subscribers would agree with me when I say that Tomb Raider would make a great addition to Netflix’s massive collection of content. Tomb Raider is one of those movies that would just make a perfect addition to Netflix’s library of content. There have been a number of movies similar to Tomb Raider in the past. For this reason we believe that it is likely that we will see Tomb Raider added as well.
The question is when?
It is hard to approximate a Netflix release date for movies. This is because there is so much uncertainty as to how much a movie producer will charge for streaming rights to a given film and how much money Netflix is willing to spend on the rights to a movie. Typically there is a closed deal that happens between Netflix and the producer of the movie. The results of these deals only go public once an agreement is reached and Netflix begins streaming the movie.
If we absolutely had to come up with a Netflix release date for Tomb Raider at this moment, we would say that Tomb Raider should be on Netflix by Summer 2019.
