How to See if Someone Has Seen Your Message on Vero
Just like apps like Snapchat and Instagram, Vero does offer read receipts. Read receipts allow you to see if your message has been sent and if the message has been read. If the person you are messaging has their read receipts turned on, you will be notified when they ready your message. In small font below the message you sent you will see the word “sent”. Once the person reads the message this text will change to “read”.
You have the ability to turn your own read receipts on and off depending on how you feel about people knowing whether or not you have read their message.
How to Turn on Read Receipts on Vero
Turning on read receipts on Vero is extremely easy. So easy in fact, a caveman could probably do it. To turn on read receipts you will need to tap the three dots below the chat icon in the upper right hand corner.
Once you tap these dots you will see an option for read receipts. Make sure the switch is turned on if you want people to know if you have read their message, or switch if off if you don’t want people to know. You have the option.
Why Aren’t Read Receipts Working on Vero?
Recently Vero users have been having some trouble with the app. Many have found that the read receipts are not working. Even if the person that they are messaging has them turned on, they are not notified when the message is read. The text will say “sent” but not change to “seen” when the message is read.
