Can You Tag People in Pictures on Vero?
Vero combines a number of great features from some of the top social media platforms available today. One feature that it does not currently have is the ability to tag people in pictures. Vero is still growing as a platform and is still in it’s infant years. As time goes by we are going to see more and more improvements to Vero and maybe even see it take over Instagram. This seems unlikely but you never know.
Although Vero does not allow you to directly tag someone in a picture, you can mention or “at” people. If you have used Instagram, this process will be familiar.
How to Tag People on Vero Posts
Before Instagram allowed users to tag their friends and family in their posts, users had to mention people in the picture in the caption of the post using the @ sign.
Vero currently works the same way. If you want to add a link to someones profile in Vero, you can tag them the old fashioned way; with the @ sign. To do this you will simply type an @ sign followed by the person’s Vero username. Be sure not to put a space between the @ and the username. You can only tag people who you either follow or have connections with.
Hopefully in the future Vero will allow users to directly tag people in photos as apposed to doing it the old fashioned way ( with the @ symbol).
